What is a domain name?
It is the unique address on the web which represents one particular website.

A domain name is what you type in the address space of the browser to surf the internet. It can be the name of the business, or not. For instance, my website is "Website Designs by Pam Baumgardner, but my domain name is www.pambaumgardner.com. I also own www.pmswebsites.com and www.venturawebsitedesigner.com. All three domain names are directed to the same site. It draws in more traffic.
The point is, your domain name should somewhat represent who you are. Each domain name is unique in that no one else may own it. Domain names are purchased annually, and can be bought for several years at a time. If you choose to not renew your domain name, it can be bought by someone else.
We can purchase your domain name for you whereas a receipt will be sent to you as the owner of your domain name.

What is website hosting?
Website hosting is a service which houses websites for public viewing from their server. Website hosting costs vary company to company depending on your basic needs. We can set up this service for you. We find if you pay annually, big discounts are available.

What will my site look like?
It depends on your style. Each of our websites are unique. We do not use pre-fabricated templates. Your vision is important to us, but if you have no vision, we'll come up with some clever ideas for you.

Who will create the graphics?
If you don't already have logos or graphics for your project, we can create one for you.

What will I need to get started?
Content! What do you want people to know about your project or business? Photos are always great start. If your local, we can come take photos for you as a part of your package.
Text! What do you want people to know about your project? History, background, services offered, music files, documents to download, etc...
